This year's event is hosted by the Purity Spring Resort, located between the Lakes Region and the White Mountains of New Hampshire and just 15 minutes south of North Conway . New Run Course.

The KING PINE TRIATHLON is the perfect season opener for veterans of the sport looking to dust off the cobwebs as well as a beginners looking to experience their first race. Designed with beginners in mind (2008 race had a field of 54% first timers), the race begins with a 1/3 mile swim in the crystal waters of Purity Lake . Scenic roadways of Madison and Freedom N.H. make up the 12.5 mile bike course. Complete your race with a 3.8 mile run around Purity Lake 's trail and road system. The event is open to all ability groups age 14 and up. Not up to the task alone.grab some friends and enter as a RELAY TEAM.

The DUATHLON is available for the land lovers. We will bus you to the race start 2 miles from the transition area. Upon entering the transition area you will join the other athletes to complete the bike and run course. The Duathlon Division is open to all ability groups age 14 and up.

The YOUTH division, open to ages 6 - 14 will have NEW distances. Begin with a 75yd swim,
1 ½ mile mountain bike, and ½ mile run.
